Partners in Paris and London, advising corporations on their operating costs,
competitive and financial positions, valuations and acquisition strategies.
Dominique then worked on a range of leverage buy-outs, corporate finance
and M&A transactions with UBS
Warburg and Daiwa
Securities in London, focusing for the latter on cross-border equity
transactions and strategic partnerships between European SMEs and Japanese industrial
groups.
He worked for 5 years in various management capacities for companies
related to Lazard
Frères:
In 1994, as a principal at Elysée Investissements, a US$300 million holding company
controlled by Lazard's senior partner E. Stern, with investments as far as Vietnam
and Myanmar; In
1995-96, as one of two executives who started Lazard Asia in Singapore, he originated
investments in excess of US$45 million for a direct investment company co-funded
with Singapore's Temasek, and executed M&A transactions in excess of US$17 million;
In 1997-98, as country
representative and advisor to Elysée General Oriental Investments, a company controlled
by E. Stern and the late financier Sir J. Goldsmith, he engineered the turnaround
and sale of their US$20 million investment portfolio in Vietnam. In 1999,
prior to founding ACA, Dominique was involved in providing hands-on guidance and
seed funding to Singapore start-up companies. Dominique holds a Masters
of Sciences in Mathematics & Physics from Ecole
Polytechnique, France's leading
scientific graduate school, and a Masters of Sciences in Economics.
He
is a member of the Singapore
Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and participates in
the French-Singapore Business Council activities.
